look up via 2005-02-10: Roseland Ballroom, NY, USA (disc 2) as the albulm at the http://musicbrainz.org/ web site. I like the band good songs interesting and unique, not perfect sound but close. PS i'm adding tags for other bands too.

Subject: Quality Show
I really enjoyed listening to this show. I'm a long time Phish fan, so the Trey addition was nice. In my opinion, Trey went too far into his own/Phish's jam style during "Night Speaks to a Woman". It was a little out of place, and the drummer just wasn't following Trey very well. After that song, he blends in well, giving the songs some quality Trey flavor. The acoustic Wilson was a treat.

Subject: great show
I'm grateful for finding this jem among all the incredible downloads on this site. There's so much talent and variety in this show. Definetly good all the way through. Peaches en regalia and after midnight are incredible encores. God damn.

Subject: Spoiled, aren't we?
Not much can be said after listening to this gem. From the first notes of Rebubla, the energy level never subsided, not even with Trey slowing the pace down with a couple of acoustic Phish tunes.

And as for him being a "dink" as others have suggested, let me perfectly clear. Nobody has the right to judge Trey on anything he'll never do musically from this moment on, as he has already proven himself a thousand times over and provided us with so many great memories how can we do anything but thank him for being himself.

When one of those geniuses accompolishes in his/her entire lifetime what he has accomplished in half his, then they can sit in judgement. Until that day comes, please, for everyone's sake, sit back and shut up.

Archive, thanks for another great memory I can carry with me for the rest of my life.

Subject: trey a dink? and new fan
i don't think trey is a dink or anything. i will say that i read about this show and was interested b/c i like phish. then i downloaded it and am totally into moe. this show is what jamming is supposed to be about. granted i haven't sat through all of meat yet, but with the others, the songs don't seem to drag on like some other jams i've heard from other bands.

Subject: Smoking show
I think this show has better quality sound (B+) than Alex Prestin's show (B). John Medeski was an awesome addition, and I agree with Woolfiler, Trey is a dink. Every time I listen to this show I just skip Wilson and Chalkdust because they are boring as hell, but a must-hear anyways. Peace ya'll

Subject: good, but
leave it to trey to be in a room full of talented musicians at a concert he isn't headlining and be like "how about i play some phish songs on stage by myself while you guys sit back stage and watch the nostalgic crowd go nuts?"

Subject: Wow!
Was not at this show, but these discs really make me wish I had been. It's blazing from start to finish. Everyone is in peak form, and the energy just comes through the speakers. moe. breaks out the big guns, and Trey sounds inspired once again. A must listen.

Subject: impressed
wow. only listened to this once through so far, but i am VERY impressed. i'm a big moe. fan, love sam bush, think medeski is a master, and a i'm a FORMER phish phan (gave up on them long before hiatus). but after listening to this show, i cannot believe what i'm hearing here. trey sounds REBORN. voice actually sounds good/steady - and his playing is solid. it's so nice to hear. he sounds so alive. i know this show isn't about him - but for me personally, it was nice to hear.

as for the music, i thought the variety was very cool. some moe. some phish. some covers. and a few surprises. there was some pretty intense, soulful playing going on that night. just a great evening of music. i haven't listened to the other recordings posted, and i doubt i will...this one is perfectly fine for me. worth getting just to hear such a gathering of amazing musicians (and if you like this kind of stuff, check out the headcount allstars from 6/7/04, posted under the disco biscuits...with members of moe, biscuits, stringcheese, mike gordon, and a few others. there are some great high points on there too). enjoy. and thank you so much for making this available to those of us who couldn't be there. and so quickly. so appreciated.

this show is amazing and over $10,000 was raised to assist the rehabilitation of the tragic tsunami. The power of music! High notes for...the whole show rocks. 40minute meat jam, rebububla, mexico, a couple Phish tunes and sick Medeski on the keys. A must have for any connisieur of jam band music. Really, really recommend this recording over the other poster. No offense, but this one sounds a little better. See you on the dooties trail....the student

Subject: Good Show
Big fan of all these musicians, and the music. Good show, but the bass makes the quality a little ruff.

Subject: Sounds Better.
I write to praise Eric-V's recording as the best on this site now. The vocals come across better here than on the other two posts. Sound quality is four to 4-1/2 stars, same for the performance. If you like Trey jamming with Moe., check out Moe. at BB King's Place from October 2, 2002. That show is smoking, and also had Warren Haynes sitting in.

Let me first say that I'm not a huge Moe. Fan. I was. And then I got out of them, starting saying they're overatted and all that bs, but man this show is ridiculous. 30+ meat is insane. WOW
